The short way of describing this album is, “Arthur Brown sings Halloween hits.” But there is so much more to this glorious romp, so much fun. There is also a fine selection of cover songs—nothing obvious, but delving back into the ’50s and ’60s.
With a mighty roar and rocking battery of guitars—Megadeth is back. Through troubled waters Dave Mustaine has brought the beast that is his band back to the forefront of rock music.
Hats Off It’s Adequate’s sixth album, and to this point the pinnacle of their recording career, is inspired by some pretty heavy subject matter. The songs explore toxic overconfidence and the constant human failure to not learn from our mistakes.
“Kickstart the Sun” is a double album containing over an hour of great music. This album has already taken the Cats a step further in credibility with the critics. Now let’s hope the music buying public will not only go to the concerts in droves, but buy the music to take home with them.
ZZ Top – RAW (That Little ‘Ol Band From Texas) is certainly the finest of ZZ Top’s Live albums, therefore one of the best live rock albums of all time.
